GENOA

genuaGenoa forms the southern corner of the Milan-Turin-Genoa industrial triangle of north-west Italy and is one of the country’s major economic and cultural centers.  It is the largest seaport in Italy. Genoa’s biggest historical center in Europe still keeps the mysteries of the Middle Ages, when Genoa was called “the Magnificent” (La Superba), and its citizens were considered the richest people in Europe.

Among other attractions there are Aquarium and Maritime Museum.

A visit to Genoa would be incomplete without trying the delicious “focaccia” bread! Its recipe is unchanged for centuries, with olive oil and white wine added into the dough!

You’ll definitely fall in love with this fascinating and diverse city!
